Every one of those uploads had to be decoded, converted and cleaned up before a single word could be transcribed. That machinery: the unglamorous, battle-tested media plumbing: is what Flippy puts directly in your hands.

People kept using a transcription platform just to convert files: and honestly, we understood. Most "free converter" sites are a maze of fake download buttons, ad walls and files that linger who-knows-where. The tooling deserved better manners.
